We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

  • You provide: account info (e.g., email/username), messages you send to support.

  • Collected automatically: device & app data (model, OS, app version), crash logs, general region/language, gameplay stats (scores, modes, session times).

  • Purchases: item, price, receipt (payments processed by Apple/Google; we don’t store card data).

How we use data

  • Run core features (daily word, gameplay, basic matchmaking).

  • Save progress, show leaderboards, prevent abuse.

  • Fix bugs and improve performance.

  • Show and measure ads.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share only with service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, IAP/ads) under contracts that limit their use of data. We may disclose if required by law or during a merger/acquisition.

Data retention

  • Gameplay/account data: kept while your account is active and then deleted within up to 24 months (earlier on request unless law requires longer).

  • Crash/analytics: typically 12–24 months in aggregated form.

  • Support emails: up to 24 months.

  • Control ads/analytics in device settings (iOS App Tracking Transparency / Android Ads Personalization).

  • We honor applicable rights under GDPR/CCPA/CPRA where you reside.

Children

ChatterArt is for ages 13+ (or local equivalent). We don’t knowingly collect data from children. Contact us to remove any such data.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes may be shown in-app.
