Getting Started

• Your First Game:
  Every player’s first ChatterArt™ experience starts with the central word "ART" placed on the board.

• Daily Global Word:
  After your initial experience, each new day introduces a fresh daily starting word, shared by all players around the globe.

Placing Words

• Place your new word by connecting at least one letter to a letter already on the board.

• Every word you place must be a valid English word—the game automatically checks.

Creating Chatter

• Triggering Chatter:
  When your newly placed word shares two or more letters with a connected existing word, it triggers "chatter."

• How Chatter Works:
  When chatter occurs, the existing connected word dynamically changes into a new valid English word.

  • Protected Letters: Any letter connected to multiple existing words or directly to your newly placed word is "protected" and cannot change.

  • Only unprotected letters shift or change to form new words.

• Choosing Your Chatter:
  The game provides up to three possible transformed words. Choose your preferred transformation strategically.

Special Move: "CHATTER"

• When you successfully place the special word "CHATTER," you activate an exciting special move:

  • Instantly triggers chatter in up to five connected words on the board, transforming each according to normal chatter rules (only unprotected letters shift).

  • Immediately awards you a special +50-point bonus.

  • You also receive the standard points for each of the newly transformed words, significantly increasing your score.

Scoring

• Earn standard points for every word you place (similar to traditional word-game scoring).

• Receive bonus points for each chatter event you trigger:

  • 2 letters shared: Bonus = transformed word’s points × 1

  • 3 letters shared: Bonus = transformed word’s points × 2 (double)

  • 4 or more letters: Bonus = transformed word’s points × 3 (triple)

• Aim strategically to achieve the highest possible score by the game's end.

• Compete against friends or challenge AI opponents to test your skills.
